I have some exciting news to share with you all: This December, I will have a solo exhibition here in New York! It’s going to be at the gallery I show with, Magnan Metz. The opening is December 11th, from 6:00-8:00. If you’re in the New York City area I would love to see you there, or if you can’t make it to the opening please check out the show another day.
One of the projects I’m working on for the show is this collaboration (test photo shown above) with my friend and talented artist Laura Splan. We came up with this design and are making it into a wallpaper-esque collage that will cover part of the gallery wall. I’m using photographs of skin that I cut by hand with a tiny exacto blade to make the pattern. More to come, so stay tuned ;’)
Also, SkinTome is undergoing some big changes as we speak. Look for a brand new design and structure, to be unveiled at the end of this year. There will still be stuff about skin (of course!), and there will also be articles about creativity, inspiration, and art. I’m so excited for all these new developments!
To stay abreast of art showings, etc., make sure you sign up for my art updates here.
And to find out about developments on SkinTome, make sure you’re on that email list too!
Thanks, as always, for your support, and for helping SkinTome grow.
