Check out this short interview on the Doctors TV Show about my artwork and dermatographia! It’s sort of sensationalized, but fun nonetheless. Here’s the synopsis they wrote: A woman with a unique skin condition called Dermatographia uses her body to create temporary, ever-changing illustrations. Ariana’s skin is extremely sensitive to the slightest scrape and because she’s also an artist, she uses her body to create art. Ariana joined The Doctors over satellite and said that when she was younger, people would always ask her what was wrong every time she accidentally scratched her skin. The redness and raised skin from the scratches lasts about 30 minutes and Ariana has been making art with it for the past 10 years. She said that it doesn’t hurt at all, but sometimes it does get itchy. Check out some of her art in the video.
